Dusty Hill of ZZ Top exits sleeping at age 72, peace out

Slumberland claimed ZZ Top co-founder Dusty Hill, 72, on July 27. That is one sad event in Rock music history. ZZ Top, which Dusty founded with co-legend Billy Gibbons, posted an Instagram official, which kicks off his loving send-off to The Big Adios.

If you don’t know who this Texas-born rock legend was?

We can’t help you with that, but Dr. Google can fortunately.

Search Joseph Michael “Dusty” Hill, born 1949, in Dallas, Texas.

For now it’s time to give Dusty all our “love and kisses” on his way out of the stratosphere.

Three man band, ZZ Top, 2021. Founded by Dusty Hill & Billy Gibbons.

Dusty Lives!

Best Frikkin’ Tribute Ever to Dusty Hill, Thanks Minnesota Max Channel

You will be missed, ps, but played on repeat often… #RIPDustyHill, now press PLAY.

Condolences to family, band, friends, and fans.
