There’s so much to love about the Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz romance revisited in BEING THE RICARDOS, with the LA premiere at the Academy of Motion Pictures Museum being no exception.

Slated for theatrical release on Dec. 10, the star cast made their way down the newly minted Academy Museum’s red carpet on Dec. 6 for Aaron Sorkin’s revisit of the Lucy-Desi backstory, secrets of a beloved couple, from iconic TV fame on the “I Love Lucy Show.”

Aaron Sorkin, Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem attend Amazon Studios “Being the Ricardos” Los Angeles Premiere on Monday, December 6, 2021.

Cast and crew members from the Amazon Original Movie spectacular BEING THE RICARDOS included: Aaron Sorkin, Nicole Kidman, Javier Bardem, JK Simmons, Nina Arianda, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, Linda Levin, Nelson Franklin, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, and David Bloomfield, among others.

Written and also directed by Aaron Sorkin, the film shows a new side to Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem, with ensemble star turns from J.K. Simmons, Nina Arianda, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, and Jake Lacy.

The action takes place from the storied writers’ room, to live sets of the period, to the soundstage, and behind the battles in love and TV with Ball and Arnaz during a pivotal production week on the “I Love Lucy Show.” It is tipped for Award Season, and the smiling faces on the red carpet say it all.

See BEING THE RICARDOS in theaters Dec. 10 with your own live audience before you stream it.
