Opening Night: John Krasinski & JJ Abrams talk A QUIET PLACE 2

After the runaway success of A QUIET PLACE from husband and wife team Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, about a post-Apocalyptic family known as the Abbotts who are plagued by arachnid-style monsters, who’d have guessed the next surprise? That would be the critical acclaim for sequel A QUIET PLACE 2, even after Krasinski, spoiler alert, sacrifices himself in the first movie.

Last night John Krasinski took the stage with moderator JJ Abrams to discuss the making of this two-part box office behemoth. They met up in Playa Vista, California, with John in his usual working man khaki attire, and JJ Abrams looking every inch the auteur-minded big budget Hollywood filmmaker.

Their chemistry is obvious as the evening’s discussion took shape, but the photos are even better.

Meanwhile for fans, the questions most often posed about the Krasinski-directed fright show can best be answered by the director himself.
