Guess who had lunch at The Beverly Hilton, yes, the 98th Oscar Noms

You can trace a path from Leonardo DiCaprio (far left) across the 98th Nominees’ “Class Photo” – as the Academy likes to call it – to Elle Fanning on the right. But this isn’t about politics. It’s about The 98th Oscars® Nominees Luncheon which was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

Just to go granular on this 98th Nominee “Class Photo,” can anyone find Emma Stone, or Jessie Buckley… maybe they had other commitments? Wait, there’s Michael B. Jordan… Jacob Elordi in the back row of course, tallest Frankenstein ever, also sexiest.

And there’s his boss on that film, Maestro Guillermo del Toro of the effervescent smile and frightening imagination down front and center. Flanked by Timothée Chalamet, who is the best actor arguably of his generation, yet alas not famous enough yet to avoid a spell check last name correction to Chalet… but give him time, after Marty Supreme’s Oscar run, even spell-check will have to pay homage to the Dune King.

And finally, the entire 98th Nominee Class up close, before lunch, as the March 15th, Oscars® apporaches.
