Even Natalie Portman showed up for Korean epic series “Pachinko” on the red carpet

Ahead of Apple TV+’s  Korean family series premiere “Pachinko” on March 25, they hosted a red carpet extravaganza at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 16. Walking the red carpet premiere were Academy Award-winning actress Yuh-Jung Youn, Lee Minho, Jin Ha, Minha Kim, Anna Sawai, Eunchae Jung, Inji Jeong, Jimmi Simpson, Junwoo Han, Steve Sanghyun Noh, Soji Arai and Kaho Minami, along with writer, showrunner, creator and executive producer Soo Hugh, directors and executive producers Kogonada and Justin Chon, executive producers Michael Ellenberg, Lindsey Springer, and executive producer Theresa Kang-Lowe.

This tale begins with a forbidden love woven into a saga between Korea, Japan and America – at war and at peace – about love and loss and comprises we make to honor our families.  “Pachinko” unveils the tapestry of a Korean immigrant family across four generations, from South Korea in the early 1900s to the 1980s. 

And even Natialie Portman showed up for this highly anticipated series about Korean family ties across the generations that bind the past with a fast-moving future.
