Anybody who loves the Amazing Nora Ephron is aces, and Elizabeth Moss (“Handmaid’s Tale”) doffs her Margaret Atwood bonnet to honor the deeply missed Ephron sister in her #AFIMOVIECLUB opener to WHEN HARRY MET SALLY.
Moss hits all the high notes here, as she reads from the screenwriter’s diary from way back when, on the set with Director Rob Reiner, who – as the lore goes – threw this idea out to Nora, and she ping-ponged it back as a hit.
And yes, Elizabeth’s shirt is referring to that Infamous Restaurant Scene, where Meg Ryan reveals the worst-kept secret that every woman in the world, and on lockdown for #COVID19, lol, knows so well.
Thank You Elizabeth Moss for Sharing Nora Ephron’s Words 🙂
