SCREENMANCER is a gathering place for people who make movies (and apparently random Hackers too) incubated out of UCLA Film School TFT by two women, Quendrith Keim Johnson and Robinson Rea, who saw the future of streaming, digital, and became the first virtual studio in Hollywood in 1997.
This site is Hollywood’s longest-running female CEO-run site that focuses on girls and women, their portrayal in the media and films, as well as an a indie film portal. Quendrith Johnson was included in Vivek Wadwah and Farai Chideya’s ground breakling women in STEM book “Innovating Women” crowdsourced by pioneering women in STEM such as Esther Dyson, and many more (Quendrith Johnson too, although she’s currently laughing her azz off that hackers hit us).
