My biggest complaint is that you never seem to know how far you are from the pin. WAS CART PATH ONLY! GA. Would like to try again in early to late spring. I played the course over the Christmas Holiday. 196. Being from Florida it was a challenge! Well-groomed fairways and greens keep Butternut Creek Golf Course difficult yet friendly, and the staff can offer tips and tricks for playing your best round. It is not a typical "mountain" course as it sits in a valley, so there is not a lot of elevation change. I believe this course has relatively new ownership. My first 9 holes I was able to play very quickly but my second nine holes found me behind several very slow moving groups. Beautiful course.
